Classic French Toast

A Blackstone griddle recipe for Classic French Toast.

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 0.3 cup “half and half” or heavy cream
  • 8 slice thick cut white or sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • butter
  • powdered sugar
  • maple syrup

Instructions

    Heat your griddle to medium heat. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, cream, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until smooth. Lightly grease the griddle with butter or vegetable oil. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture until well saturated with egg

    then place onto the griddle. When the French toast has begun to brown, flip and cook until the other side has browned as well. About four minutes. Remove the French toast from the griddle, dust with powdered sugar, and Servings with warm maple syrup.
