Chocolate Mini-Chippers

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine -- softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg white OR 2 tablespoons fat-free cholesterol-free egg product
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

    Heat oven to 375º.

    Beat sugars, butter, vanilla and egg white in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon.

    Stir in flours, baking soda and salt.

    Stir in chocolate chips.

    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
