  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup Nestle's Quick
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

    Combine cream cheese, egg, ½ cup sugar, and chocolate chips; set aside.

    Measure dry ingredients and mix together the following: flour, 1 cup sugar, soda, salt, Quick.

    Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.

    Fill paper-lined cupcake pan about ½ full with the chocolate mixture.

  5. 5

    Put 1 heaping tablespoon of cream cheese mixture in the center of each cupcake.

    Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.
