Chili-Beer Brisket

- 2 0.5 lb beef brisket
- 0.5 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 0.3 tsp garlic powder
- 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
- 1 can (12 oz) beer
- 2 count medium tomatoes, sliced
- 6 sprig fresh parsley
Instructions

Place brisket fat-side down in slow cooker. Sprinkle with chopped onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour chili sauce over the brisket.

Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours.

Pour beer over the brisket. Increase temperature to MEDIUM (or HIGH for 30 minutes) and cook an additional 30 minutes.

Transfer brisket to a carving board. Slice very thin across the grain.

Arrange on a serving platter, garnished with sliced tomatoes and parsley. Serve with cooking liquid as gravy and wild rice on the side.
