Chili Beer Brisket

  • 2 0.5 lb beef brisket
  • 12 oz chili sauce
  • 12 oz beer
  • 0.5 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced for garnish
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 0.3 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

    Place beef brisket fat side down in slow cooker. Sprinkle with onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    Pour chili sauce over brisket. Cook on Low for 3 hours.

    Pour beer over brisket; increase to moderate heat and cook 30 more minutes.

    Slice very thin against the grain. Serve with cooking liquid and garnish with tomatoes.
