Chicory Coffee Ice Cream

- 2 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Whole milk
- 5 each Egg yolks
- 0.3 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Chicory coffee
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract

Heat cream and milk together.

Whisk egg yolks with sugar until pale.

Slowly pour hot cream into yolks while whisking.

Return to pan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.

Cook until mixture coats the back of a spoon.

Remove from heat and stir in chicory coffee and vanilla.

Chill completely.

Churn in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
