Chicken Stuffing Casserole

  • 4 count whole chicken breasts, boiled and broken into bite-size pieces
  • 0.8 lb Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 cup herb stuffing mix (like Pepperidge Farm)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of chicken soup, undiluted

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13×11-inch baking dish.

    Layer chicken pieces in the bottom of the dish. Mix cream of chicken soup with chicken broth; pour over chicken.

    Cover chicken with Swiss cheese slices.

    Mix melted margarine into the stuffing mix until evenly moistened. Spread stuffing mixture over the cheese.

    Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

    Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer until stuffing is golden and casserole is bubbling.
