Chicken Chow Mein

Skinless chicken thighs slow-cooked with mushrooms, onion, garlic, and teriyaki sauce all day; finished with bean sprouts or canned Chinese vegetables and served over rice.

  • 6 chicken thighs, skin removed
  • 6 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 3 dash Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cup bean sprouts or 1 can Chinese vegetables
  • 2 cup cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

    Place chicken, mushrooms, onion, garlic, teriyaki sauce, and Tabasco in crockpot. Cook on LOW all day (8 hours).

    During last 30 minutes, add bean sprouts or canned Chinese vegetables; stir.

    Debone chicken easily (will fall off bone). Serve over cooked rice.
