Cheddar Bay Biscuits

- 2 0.5 cup biscuit mix (such as Bisquick)
- 0.8 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 0.8 cup cold water
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.3 tsp salt
- 0.3 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley flakes

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, stir together biscuit mix, shredded Cheddar, and cold water just until a soft dough forms — do not overmix.

Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.

Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown on top.

Meanwhile, melt butter and stir in garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and dried parsley.

As soon as biscuits come out of the oven, brush generously with garlic butter.
