- 1 large green pepper, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 oz margarine
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 lb assorted pasta (wheels, shells, spirals, or ziti)
- 0.5 lb pepperoni, sliced thin and halved
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 0.5 lb ground beef, browned and drained
- 0.5 lb Italian sausage, browned and drained
- 1 jar (16 oz) meat-flavored pasta sauce

Melt margarine in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onions, peppers, and garlic powder for about 4 minutes.

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Heat pasta sauce and combine with the cooked ground beef and sausage.

Lightly grease an 11×13-inch casserole dish. Layer half the pasta, half the vegetables, half the pepperoni, and half the sauce. Repeat layers.

Spread mozzarella cheese over the top.

Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbly.
