Caramel Apples (Slow Cooker)
A clever use of the crockpot to melt caramel candies into a smooth dipping sauce for fresh apples — a fun autumn treat.

- 28 oz caramel candies (2 packages)
- 0.3 cup water
- 8 medium apples, washed and dried
- 8 wooden sticks

Combine caramels and water in crockpot. Cover and cook on HIGH 1–1.5 hours, stirring frequently, until melted.

Insert a stick into the stem end of each apple.

Turn crockpot to LOW. Dip apple into caramel, turning to coat entire surface.

Hold apple above pot to scrape off excess from bottom. Place on greased wax paper to cool.
