  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked spinach, squeezed dry and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 0.3 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 0.3 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.3 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cup tomato sauce, divided
  • 12 cannelloni shells
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

    Brown ground beef in a little oil; transfer to a bowl and cool.

    Add salt, pepper, garlic, egg, cheese, parsley, bread crumbs, spinach, and ½ cup tomato sauce; mix well.

    Spread some tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking pan; stuff cannelloni shells with meat mixture.

    Place in pan; spread tomato sauce between layers and on top. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour; broil 2–3 minutes to brown top.
