- 3 lb squid, cleaned and cut into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 lemons, cut into wedges

Heat 1 inch of oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.

Dip calamari rings in flour and shake off excess.

Fry in batches until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes.

Drain on paper towels. Season with salt and serve with lemon wedges.
