Cabbage Soup with Cod and Shrimp

- 0.5 head of green cabbage, cored and shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 1 lb cod fillets, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 0.5 cup dry white wine
- 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt, or to taste
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 4 minutes until softened.

Add the shredded cabbage and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes until it begins to wilt.

Pour in the white wine and let it reduce for 2 minutes.

Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.

Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.

Add the cod pieces and shrimp. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
