Ingredients

Servings
4
  • 0.5 head of green cabbage, cored and shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lb cod fillets, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 4 minutes until softened.

  2. 2

Add the shredded cabbage and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes until it begins to wilt.

  3. 3

Pour in the white wine and let it reduce for 2 minutes.

  4. 4

Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.

  6. 6

Add the cod pieces and shrimp. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.

  7. 7

Season with salt and pepper. Ladle into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley.
