Cabbage Soup Of Cabbages and Cod
A satisfying seafood and cabbage soup combining flaky cod and tender shrimp with wilted cabbage, tomatoes, and a cream of mushroom base. Simple, hearty, and full of flavour.

- 0.5 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 whole onion, chopped
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 14 oz cod fillets, cubed
- 7 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 0.5 cup dry white wine
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt, to taste
- 0.5 tsp black pepper

In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the shredded cabbage and cook, stirring occasionally, until wilted, about 8 minutes.

Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, white wine, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.

Cook for 20 minutes to meld the flavours.

Add the cod and shrimp; cook for 8-10 minutes until the seafood is just cooked through and the cod flakes easily.

Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
