Cabbage Soup (Of Cabbages and Cod)
A simple, satisfying soup combining cabbage, cod, and shrimp in a tomato-cream broth.

- 0.5 head green cabbage, shredded
- 1 whole onion, chopped
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 10 0.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 14 oz cod fillets, cubed
- 7 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 0.5 cup dry white wine
- 14 oz diced tomatoes (1 can)

Instructions

Sauté onion and garlic in a large pot with a little oil until softened.

Add cabbage and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.

Stir in cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, white wine, and diced tomatoes.

Simmer for 20 minutes.

Add cod and shrimp; cook for 8–10 minutes until the seafood is just cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper and serve.
