Cabbage Rolls with Sour Cream Sauce

- 2 cup ground beef, cooked and seasoned
- 0.3 cup onion, diced
- 0.5 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1 tbsp prepared mustard
- 1 large egg, well beaten
- 6 large cabbage leaves
- 0.3 cup tomato purée
- 0.5 cup water
- 1 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Brown beef and onion in a heavy skillet over low heat. Remove from heat. Mix in celery, rice, horseradish, mustard and beaten egg.

Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling salted water for 3 minutes to soften.

Place a portion of the meat mixture on each cabbage leaf. Roll tightly and fasten with toothpicks.

Place rolls close together in a greased baking dish. Pour tomato purée and water over them. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove cabbage rolls to a serving platter. Pour sour cream into the liquid remaining in the baking dish, stirring to make a sauce. Serve sauce over cabbage rolls.
