- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions

Combine brown sugar, shortening, butter, and salt.

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Add milk and boil slowly for 3 minutes.

Add sugar and beat until thick enough to spread.
