Burnsville Beef And Macaroni Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 lb of hamburger meat
- 3 0.5 oz can of tomato paste
- 4 0.5 oz package of elbow macaroni uncooked
- 0.5 cup of chopped green pepper
- 0.5 cup of chopped onion
- 10 0.5 oz can of chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tsp of chili powder
- 0.5 tsp of allspice
- 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

Salt and black pepper to taste 1 tablespoon of shortening Cook the hamburger meat, elbow macaroni, onion and the green pepper in hot fat slowly until meat is lightly browned. Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet and bring to boil. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until done. Rice And Sausage Casserole 4 cups of cooked brown rice 3/4 cup of chopped onion 1/2 cup of chopped celery 1/4 cup of chopped green pepper 1/4 cup of chopped red pepper 1 cup of sliced mushrooms 3 tablespoons of olive oil 3 tablespoons of butter 1 pound of cooked sausage, drained A dash of Tabasco sauce Sauté all of the vegetables in the olive oil and butter for about 5 minutes. Mix the cooked vege- tables along with the sausage and Tabasco sauce into the cooked rice. Place the rice mixture into a buttered casserole and bake at 350 degrees until hot. This is great for cool days or holi- day cooking.
