Broiled Sea Scallops

  • 0.5 cup dry vermouth
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 lb sea scallops
  • 0.3 cup buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

    Mix vermouth, vegetable oil, garlic, and parsley in a bowl.

    Add scallops and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.

    Preheat the broiler.

    Spoon scallops and marinade into individual ramekins.

    Place under broiler and broil for 3 minutes.

    Turn scallops and sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.

    Broil for 3 more minutes until the tops are golden and scallops are cooked through.

    Serve immediately.
