Crockpot brisket

- 1 3-5lb brisket - not too lean
- 1 can cranberry sauce jellied, soup can size
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- bottle beer or more as needed - I prefer dark, but use the kind of beer you
- enjoy drinking
- press into roast with fingers. Spoon out cranberry sauce and crumble with hands
- over top of brisket. It tastes better if you get your hands a little dirty! Slowly pour
- in beer so that the roast is covered.
- If your cooker is large enough, I cut up carrots and potatoes and place around the
- brisket to have on the side with dinner. Add more beer if needed to cover added
- vegetables.

Place brisket in crock pot, use onion soup mix as a "dry rub" rub all over top and

Cook on low for 8-10 hrs. I put mine on the 'auto' setting and it's done in 8 hrs
