Boiled Cake

- white sugar
- 1 cup lard
- brown sugar
- 3 cup water
- salt
- 1 cup raisins
- cinnamon
- 4 cup flour
- 1 tsp nutmeg 1 teaspoon soda dissolved in a little warm
- 1 tsp cloves water
Instructions

Cook sugars, salt, spices, lard, water, and raisins for 7 minutes. Add flour, and soda. Bake. Frosting: 1 cup brown sugar, 3 teaspoons white sugar. Boil in a little cream and a little piece of butter.
