- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 4 count sesame seed hamburger buns
- 4 leaves iceberg lettuce
- 4 slice American cheese
- 4 slice Swiss cheese
- 4 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper

Divide ground beef into 8 thin patties (about 2 oz each); season with salt and pepper.

Grill or pan-cook patties over medium-high heat, 2–3 minutes per side until cooked through.

Toast buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Layer each sandwich: bottom bun, Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, American cheese, thin patty, Swiss cheese, second thin patty, more dressing, top bun.
