- 2 tbsp of sliced, black olives
- 2 head of lettuce, rinsed, drained and cored

Fry the bacon until crisp. Drain fat but leave the bacon in the skillet. Crumble up the bacon and add the vinegar, water, onion, salt, sugar, and the black pep- per to skillet and heat to boiling. Tare the lettuce into small pieces in a salad bowl and add the olives. Pour the hot bacon dressing over lettuce and toss to coat. ____________________
