  • 2 Tablespoon Butter
  • 4 Loin strip steaks −; (10 to 14 Ounce ea)
  • Salt; to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper; to taste

Instructions

    In a large cast−iron skillet, melt the butter.

    Season the steaks with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    When the butter is very hot and starting to brown, add the steaks.

  4. 4

    Cook the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

  5. 5

    You want to almost char the outside of the steak and have the center cold.

  6. 6

    Remove the steaks from the pan and serve.
