Black and Blue Caesar Salad

  • 6 oz sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 0.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 0.5 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 0.3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 0.3 cup large croutons
  • 3 slice Roma tomato
  • 0.3 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 0.3 cup diced cooked bacon

Instructions

    Brush steak with melted butter and coat thoroughly with Cajun seasoning.

    Heat a cast-iron skillet until very hot. Sear steak to desired doneness. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thin.

    In a large bowl, toss romaine with half the Parmesan, half the croutons, and Caesar dressing.

    Place in chilled bowls. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.

    Add tomato slices on one side. Top with sliced steak.

    Garnish with blue cheese, warm bacon, and remaining croutons.
