Biersuppe (Beer Soup)

  • 0 each tbsp. (heaping) flour
  • 0 each tbsp. butter
  • 1 l Beer
  • 1 each sm piece of cinnamon
  • 2 each Egg yolks
  • 0.5 each c. plus 1/2 tbsp. milk

Instructions

    Toasted white (French) bread Open the beer and let it get flat; at least two hours.

    Brown the flour in the butter, then add beer.

  3. 3

    Add cinnamon and sugar and bring to a boil.

  4. 4

    Whisk together the egg yolk and milk and stir into the hot (but no longer boiling) beer.

    Strain, and serve with toasted slices of bread.
