Berries Romanoff

A classic dessert of mixed fresh berries — raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, loganberries, and strawberries — piled on a platter and draped with a Grand Marnier sour cream sauce.

  • 0.5 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 pint vanilla bean ice cream
  • 2 cup sweetened whipped cream
  • 1 pint raspberries
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 pint blackberries
  • 1 pint loganberries
  • 1 pint strawberries, halved
  • 2 oz chocolate curls, for garnish
  • 2 tbsp chiffonade of fresh mint, for garnish
  • 1 to taste powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

    In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Grand Marnier and sour cream. Fold in the whipped cream.

    Arrange all the berries on a large platter.

    Pour the cream mixture over the top of the berries.

    Garnish with chocolate curls, mint, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
