BBQ Garlic Chicken

  • 4 count boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup picante sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 count cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.3 tsp salt

    Place each chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap. Flatten to ¼-inch thickness with a meat mallet, then cut into 1-inch pieces.

    In a shallow container, combine picante sauce, vegetable oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, oregano, and salt. Mix well.

    Add chicken pieces to the marinade, toss to coat, cover, and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.

    Thread marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.

    Cook over hot coals or on a preheated grill for 6 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with any remaining marinade, until cooked through.
