Bavarian Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

- 54 oz Bavarian-style sauerkraut, undrained (2 large cans)
- 2 lb Polish kielbasa sausage, precooked, cut in pieces
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced into rings
- 1 tsp instant chicken bouillon granules
- 0.5 tsp celery seed

In the bottom of the slow cooker, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 pound sausage pieces, half the onion slices, ½ teaspoon bouillon and ¼ teaspoon celery seed.

Repeat with remaining sauerkraut, sausage, onion, bouillon and celery seed.

Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours, or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.

Serve with boiled potatoes or crusty rye bread.
