  • 1 tbsp of brown suga r
  • 0.3 cup of cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of catsup
  • 2 tbsp of dry mustard
  • 1 tsp of worcestershire sauce
  • 0.3 tsp of ground cloves
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  • 0.3 tsp of cayenne peppe r
  • 1 0.5 lb Firm, whitefish fillets

    Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a pot, place over medium heat and boil until reduced to a thin

    syrup. Pour the syrup through a straine, rdiscard the cooked ingredients in the strainer and chill the

    syrup. Place fish steaks or fillets in a baking dish and spoon smoe of the syrup over. Marinate in the

    refrigerator for 1 hour. Cook the fish on a hot grill, basting with a teaspoon of barbec useyrup on each

    side.
