Slow Cooker Barbecue Beef Sandwiches

  • 3 lb beef rump roast
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp beef instant bouillon
  • 1 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 8 whole hamburger buns, for serving

Instructions

    Rub flour into the beef rump roast.

    Place in the bottom of a crockpot.

  3. 3

    Add tomato sauce, onion, brown sugar, lemon juice, bouillon, chili powder, garlic, and dry mustard over the roast.

    Cook on low for 14 to 16 hours.

    Shred the beef using two forks and stir into the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve over hamburger buns.
