Banana-Date Muffins

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • sugar
  • 2 cup plus 1 tbs flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda 2 tbs baking powder
  • salt

  • shredded cheddar cheese

  • buttermilk

  • 2 cup margarine, softened
  • 0.3 cup margarine, softened 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    In medium pot, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, 3 medium bananas, mashed

    baking soda, salt, dry mustard. Cut in margarine 3/4 cups Wheaties, crushed

    with pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse 12 diced pitted dates

    meal. Stir in cheese and buttermilk. On lightly

    slowly, mixing well. Add dates and Wheaties. Mix

    well. Spoon into muffin cups. Bake in cardboard

    BLUEBERRY BRAN MUFFINS oven at 400 for 20 minutes or until brown. Serve
