Baked Pork Chops and Rice

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp drippings or butter

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown pork chops in drippings in a skillet.

    Place chops in a baking dish. Cover with onion slices, then raw rice.

    Combine soup and milk; pour over rice. Cover tightly.

    Bake at least 1 hour until rice is tender and chops are cooked through.
