Baked Pork Chops and Noodles

- 4 count pork chops, trimmed of excess fat
- 2 cans (16 oz each) whole peeled tomatoes with juice
- 0.5 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 count bay leaf
- 8 oz egg noodles, uncooked
- 4 slice thin onion rings (for topping)
- 8 strips green bell pepper strips (for topping)
Instructions

Brown pork chops on both sides in a lightly oiled skillet; drain on paper towels.

Combine tomatoes with juice, chopped onion, salt, sugar, pepper, marjoram, and bay leaf for the sauce.

Place dry egg noodles in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Pour the tomato mixture over the noodles.

Place browned pork chops on top. Garnish each chop with an onion ring and 2 bell pepper strips.

Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.

Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until chops are tender and noodles are cooked through. Remove bay leaf and serve.
