  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.3 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp black pepper
  • 2 0.5 lb chicken thighs or a cut-up fryer
  • 0.3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.8 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Melt butter in a 13×9-inch baking pan. Stir in thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then swish in seasoned butter on both sides to coat.

    Arrange chicken in the pan. Bake at 400°F for about 30 minutes until browned.

    Reduce heat to 350°F. Turn chicken pieces over; add mushrooms and wine.

    Cover with foil and continue baking about 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Serve with the pan juices.
