Autumn Pork Chops
Thick pork chops layered with sliced acorn squash and smothered in a brown sugar, butter, orange juice, and Kitchen Bouquet glaze — an autumn slow cooker classic.

- 6 thick pork chops
- 2 medium acorn squash, each cut into 4-5 crossways slices, seeds removed
- 0.8 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp margarine, melted
- 0.8 cup brown sugar
- 0.8 tsp Kitchen Bouquet browning sauce
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 0.5 tsp grated orange peel

Trim excess fat from pork chops.

Arrange 3 chops on bottom of crockpot. Place all squash slices on top, then the remaining 3 chops.

Combine salt, melted butter, brown sugar, browning sauce, orange juice, and orange peel. Spoon over chops.

Cover and cook on LOW 6–8 hours until done.
