  • 6 cup of chopped, cooked chicken
  • 0.3 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 2 cup of milk
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 0.3 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

    Brown the onion in butter and stir in the flour, salt, and pepper. Pour in the milk and cook until kind of bubbly. Remove from heat and mix with the chopped chicken in a shallow bowl. Cover and put in refrigerator over night. Remove from the refrigerator and shape into patties. Beat 3 eggs and dip patties in the eggs. Chill for 15 minutes and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Country Baked Chicken 2 cut up broilers or frying chickens 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed 1/2 pound of sliced bacon 2 large onions, peeled and chopped 6 large carrots, scraped and cubed Brown the chicken parts on all sides in a large heavy pot. Layer the potatoes, carrots, and the chopped onions on top of the chicken and lay the bacon strips close together on top of the vegetables. Cover pot and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove the lid from the pot and bake to an additional 15 minutes or until the bacon is browned.
