- 1 cup of Crisco
- 2 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of strawberry preserves
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of nutmeg
- 1 tsp of cloves
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 cup of black walnuts
- 1 cup of pecans
- 1 box of raisins
- 4 0.5 cup of plain flour
- 2 tsp of vanilla
- 2 0.5 cup of applesauce
- 2 tsp of baking soda mixed in with the applesauce

Cream the shortening and sugar. Add the eggs, strawberry preserves, and the applesauce.
