Applebee's Baby Back Ribs

  • 2 racks pork baby back ribs (about 1 lb each), each halved
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 0.3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions

    Put ribs in a large pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer covered 1 hour until fork-tender.

    Mix all sauce ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered 30 minutes.

    Heat broiler. Place ribs meat side down on foil-lined broiler pan; brush with half the sauce.

    Broil 4–5 inches from heat 6–7 minutes. Turn, brush with remaining sauce, and broil 6–7 minutes more until edges are slightly charred.
