Apple Stuffing

- 0.3 cup onion, chopped
- 0.3 cup celery, chopped
- 2 tbsp margarine or butter
- 4 cup dry bread cubes
- 0.5 tsp poultry seasoning
- 0.5 tsp dried sage
- 1 cup unpeeled apple, diced
- 0.3 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 0.5 cup chicken broth

In a small skillet, cook onion and celery in margarine over medium heat for 5 minutes or until tender.

In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, poultry seasoning, dried sage, diced apple, and black pepper.

Add the cooked onion and celery mixture. Toss to combine.

Add chicken broth and toss until stuffing is evenly moistened.

Use as stuffing for a 10 to 12 pound turkey, or bake in a greased casserole dish at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes.
