- 1/4 c Shortening
- 2/3 c Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 c All purpose flour
- 1 ts Baking powder
- 2 c Raw apples, grated
- 1/2 c Nuts, chopped
Instructions

Beat shortening, sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.

Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with grated apples.

Add nuts.

The batter will be stiff.

Turn into greased and floured loaf pan.

Bake at 350~ for about 1 hour.
