American-Italian Pasta Salad

  • 16 oz fusilli pasta
  • 1 cup frozen petite peas, thawed
  • 1 cup cubed Genoa salami
  • 2 can sliced black olives
  • 0.8 cup chopped green onions
  • 0.8 cup chopped celery
  • 0.5 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp milk

    Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; rinse under cold water and drain.

    Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, and Italian dressing mix until smooth.

    Combine pasta, peas, olives, salami, green onions, celery, and parsley in a large bowl.

    Mix in dressing, reserving ½ cup. Refrigerate overnight. Stir before serving, adding reserved dressing if dry.
