All Day Crock Pot Delight
Tender beef chuck braised all day in a slow cooker with onions and beer, then thickened into a rich gravy. Serve with rice and salad.

- 2 lb boneless chuck, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 0.5 cup flour, for coating
- 0.3 cup butter
- 1 whole onion, sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 whole clove garlic, minced
- 2 cup beer
- 0.3 cup flour, for thickening

Coat beef cubes with 1/2 cup flour. Brown in melted butter. Drain off excess fat.

In a crock pot, combine browned meat with onion, salt, pepper, garlic, and beer.

Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours (all day) until meat is tender.

Turn control to high. Dissolve remaining 1/4 cup flour in a small amount of water. Stir into meat mixture.

Cook on high for 30-40 minutes to thicken. Serve with rice and salad.
