  • 0.5 each onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 each cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 0 cup sugar
  • 0.5 tsp mustard seeds
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp celery seeds
  • 0.5 tsp pickling spice
  • 1 each ) Combine onion and cucumber slices in a clean spring-top jar.
  • 2 each ) Combine the remaining ingredients in a non-reactive saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • 3 each ) Simmer for 4 full minutes to wake up the flavors of the spices.
  • 4 each ) Slowly pour the hot pickling liquid over the onion and cucumber slice, completely
  • 5 each ) Allow the pickles to cool to room temperature before topping off with any remaining
  • 6 each ) Refrigerate.
