- 0.5 each onion, thinly sliced
- 2 each cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 0 cup sugar
- 0.5 tsp mustard seeds
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 0.5 tsp celery seeds
- 0.5 tsp pickling spice
- 1 each ) Combine onion and cucumber slices in a clean spring-top jar.
- 2 each ) Combine the remaining ingredients in a non-reactive saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 3 each ) Simmer for 4 full minutes to wake up the flavors of the spices.
- 4 each ) Slowly pour the hot pickling liquid over the onion and cucumber slice, completely
- 5 each ) Allow the pickles to cool to room temperature before topping off with any remaining
- 6 each ) Refrigerate.
