Crock-Pot Apple Butter

  • 8 cup cooked apples
  • 4 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp allspice

    Peel and slice apples. Cook on low heat with small amount of water until

    tender. Put cooked apples, sugar and vinegar in slow cooker. Cover and cook 12

    hours on low. Puree mixture and return to crock pot. Add spices and cook for 3

    hours on high without lid until mixture becomes a spreading consistency. Fill

    refrigerator containers or put into sterilized jars, adjust lids and submerge in

  6. 6

    boiling water for 10 minutes.
